Simple fun!

After being sick for a week and yet not being quite healthy enough to be outside or go to church, on Sunday, my kids were going absolutely bonkers. I felt like we had Netflixed far too much and everyone was chanting “I’m bored and there is nothing to do.” No toy, book, Lego creation, doll, well, anything we practically owned would hold their interest. Things were getting ugly fast.

Bless Instagram and Laurel Sauls, because somewhere my brain had filed away this little bit of fun. Bet you could find it in your pantry. They ended up spending most of the afternoon building and exploring with these creations and they’ve asked to pull it out twice since then. Also not shown is the ridiculous amount of fun that was had with about two dollars worth of small plastic cups, suggested by my second oldest boy, Isaiah. They built them in towers and knocked them down, built them up, knocked them down, gales of laughter all around. File it away for your next rainy or sick day!
