As Lorelei would say. Flowers from the farmer's market: My sewing machine and I have finally made friends again. Love this skirt…made it this weekend with the help of this book. It's wonderful to have something that fits me in all the right places. Thankful for my mom and my grandma, who taught me my sewing skills, which, unfortunately, have been shamefully under-used. But I think that is changing, no?
The hunt for the ever-elusive, casual-yet-dressy, comfortable-yet-fashionable, dress-up-or-with-jeans, feels-like-you're-barefoot, brown Mary Jane has finally come to an end. Four years and a couple of rejects later.
Simple, sweet, and pretty.

Love the flowers. The skirt. The shoes. Quietly beautiful.

That’s so funny… I just bought a pair of shoes like this!!!
I’m jealous of the sewing. A sewing machine is on my wish list in the the next year or two.

J0y, if you only knew what an obsession I have with Mary Janes. Have for years and have the collection to prove it. Yours are wonderful!
