Paint on the finger tips…

The idea for this literally came in a dream…I had been praying about an assignment, and I wanted God’s blessing on it. I was stumped at where to start, and then this idea was given me. It’s watercolor on tracing paper (part of a bigger project). It has a gorgeous, translucent, airy quality. The different gradients in the watercolor really stand out…it looks a bit like stained glass. I cannot wait to try it with different themes!
I also finished my little mini-book for our anniversary. I love the quick, unified look of mini albums that can’t always be achieved in the larger sizes (especially 12 x 12!). I find it goes really fast if I pick one or two papers, a few embellishments (all in a pre-determined color scheme) and just go. So much fun! (Click for larger)
